N° I – The flavours

Two spirits. Zero shortcuts.

Named after the wrong gods, filled with the right ingredients. Whole botanicals, steeped in real spirit until the can has something to say.

  • A can of Dolos Loki on a dark marble bar

    Maté & ginger infused agave

Agave spirit steeped with yerba maté and fresh ginger. Bright, sharp and quietly caffeinated. This is the natural answer to that vodka-energy thing you keep ordering.

N° II – The manifesto

The manifesto

There's an epidemic of tasteless drinks. Most canned drinks right now are flavoured water with a marketing budget. A flavour mixed in a lab. A mood board where the recipe should be.

We went the other way. Real spirit, infused with whole hibiscus, rose, yerba and ginger. No syrups, no "natural flavours", no shortcuts. Small-batch, canned in Amsterdam.

Good company from the first sunny set to that last one before sunup.

Dolos is named after the Greek spirit of trickery. Funny, then, that we're the only ones who actually put something in the can.

Loud in flavour, low in calories, and honest about all of it.

N° III – Why it tastes like something

Infused, not flavoured.

“Natural flavour” on a label usually means a laboratory far from any flower. Infusion means the actual plant spent actual time in actual spirit. You can taste the difference. That's the whole point.

Infused – Dolos

  • Whole hibiscus, rose, yerba maté and ginger
  • Steeped in real clear and agave spirits
  • A touch of agave, a squeeze of lime, nothing else
  • Tastes like the plants it was made from

Flavoured – the others

  • A “natural flavour” engineered far from any flower
  • Syrup for body, bubbles for distraction
  • Recipe finalised by the marketing department
  • Tastes like the idea of a drink

N° IV – Made in Amsterdam

Small-batch, from our night to yours.

Every can of Dolos is infused, blended and canned in Amsterdam, in small numbered batches. No tanker trucks, no flavour concentrate flown in from somewhere beige.

We made Dolos for the nights we know: the sunny festival set, the club at two, the last one before sunup. It was born here. It behaves accordingly.

N° V – The name

A hand with a gold bracelet holding a can of Dolos Lilith

Named after a trickster.

Dolos was the Greek spirit of trickery, apprentice to Prometheus. He once copied the statue of Truth so perfectly that even his master couldn't tell them apart. He only ran out of clay before he got to the feet, so his Truth couldn't walk.

We liked that story. The whole canned-drinks aisle is full of copies that can't walk: flavoured water wearing a spirit costume. So we took the trickster's name and did the opposite. Real spirit, real botanicals, and a label that tells you exactly what's inside.

Serve Dolos.

Run a bar, club, festival or shop? The first batch is small and spoken for fast. Join the guestlist and we'll come pouring.

We reply from Amsterdam, usually before dusk.

N° VII – Questions

Fair questions, honest answers.

Where can I drink Dolos?

At launch: selected clubs, bars and festivals. The guestlist hears about every new venue first.

What's actually in the can?

Real spirit (clear spirit for Lilith, agave spirit for Loki), sparkling water, whole-botanical infusions, a touch of agave syrup and lime. That's the whole list.

Does Loki really contain caffeine?

Yes: 11 mg per 100 ml, naturally from the yerba maté. About a third of a cup of coffee per can. There because the plant put it there.

Is it vegan and gluten free?

Both. 4,5% alcohol, 250 ml.

Can I buy online?

The webshop is on its way. Until then: join the guestlist, or find us from dusk till dawn.
